Throughout history, people have had the desire to fly; the mythology of Icarus can be a main example. Although flight has been successful from the Wright brothers, people who were devoted to the idea of flight, like Otto Lilienthal or Gustav Mesmer, tried their best to mimic a bird’s motion of flight. Although they were not successful, their attempts and craftsmanship are still admired until today. This was the start to the device, or even the concept of my device. The exploration of the motion of birds, using this research to convey it through models that show from the basic flapping to the change of direction of the feathers all into one smooth movement.
