‘Soft Robotics’

Canary Island, Spain

2019

Soft Robotics looks into agricultural industry issue of a growing population. With the world’s population due to grow from 7.7 billion to 9.7 billion by 2050, the farming industry is pressured to feed 80 million people in addition, each year. In this reasons, Soft Roboticsis proposing series of mechanically alive systems driven by Arduino that is triggered by sensors. Farming with AI and robotics, not only reduces the use of water, fuel and fertilizers, but also contributes to higher productivity in agriculture by creating a more controlled environment. By sensing light, open& close mechanisms maintains/regulates the needed amount of sun light through using with artificial LEDs to control the supply of light needed for the plants.
